Responsive/UX/UI Design - Banking Sites

My current position at Jack Henry & Associates allows me to work with a large array of clients all over the country.
Our main objective at JHA is to bring our clients’ banking websites into the 21st century using the latest design trends and best practices.

I communicate with our banks through conference calls, screen sharing and other tools to ensure they get exactly what they want, making sure the site is current in design and style while still working best for their customers. I work with the banks to ensure their UX/UI not only accomplishes their goals but also makes their site easy to navigate for their customers.

We continually have to maintain the balance between, ease of use and the banks needs and security. Through phone calls, example websites and mockups we work to the completed project that both parties can be proud of and will serve their customers for years to come.

I really wanted a clean, simple and elegant look. I wanted the focus on advertising areas. Lots of nice open white space that will allow users to focus on the ads and will really make those messages stick in their minds. The rates area will also be a good tool too advertise current rates. I also made the online banking area pop over super useful for the users with relevant links to help them get more banking done.

For this homepage I strived for simplicity. The navigation is clean and clear. The search function is easy to find as well as the quick links. I used large images to give the user a clear sense of what they are looking at and what new products and services are being advertised.

Primebank wanted a simple and clean look without being blocky. I incorporated circles throughout the homepage to achieve that clean and simple goal.
